82 Graduating from St. Bernard High School

St. Bernard High School's Class of 2007 will graduate Sunday in ceremonies that begin at 11 a.m. in the Fr. Russell Boisvert Auditorium at the Route 32 high school.
Brother Robert J. Daszkiewicz, the school's principal, will give the welcoming address to the 82 graduates, faculty, family and friends who attend the school's 49th commencement.
Bishop Michael R. Cote will preside and will present each student with a diploma.
The class will be addressed by two graduates, Michael Whalen of New London and Joseph Shifrin of Windham. Whalen, president of the Student Council, is the Senior Class Orator for the graduation ceremonies. Shifrin, who is the senior class president, will deliver the senior class message.
After receiving their diplomas each student will be inducted into the school's Alumni & Friends organization with a pin. Pins will be handed out by faculty member Stephen Moon, Class of 2002, and alumnus and parent Glen Aldrich, Class of 1976.
On Saturday St. Bernard's will hold a Baccalaureate Mass and Awards presentation for graduates. The mass will be celebrated by the school's chaplain, Fr. Brian Romanowski, Class of 1994. Following the Liturgy, awards and scholarships will be presented to the seniors.
