Returning Iraq Vet thanks for Christmas cheer
From the Norwich Bulletin:
Lance Cpl. Kyle Dugas returned to his Plainfield home Sunday morning after four months in Iraq.
But before he could enjoy his return stateside, Dugas had a bit more work to do.
On Tuesday, he was at Montville’s St. Bernard School, where he
presented a combat-certified American flag to High School Principal
Deborah Fitzgerald and a student body that gave the 20-year-old veteran
a standing ovation.
Over the course of his deployment, Dugas and 60 other Marines from the
Chicopee, Mass.-based B detachment of the 472nd Marine Wing Support
Squadron received 15 boxes full of goods from students at the school.
